This area features a line-up of acclaimed and emerging authors, offering festivalgoers the chance to meet the writers behind the words, hear about their creative journeys, and get books personally signed.
In addition to author appearances, the space includes a curated bookshop stocked with a wide range of titles—from historical fiction and contemporary memoirs to children’s tales and cultural studies—all rooted in Irish and Celtic themes.
Katrina, Robinson is a writer and freelance journalist based in Oxford, England, although her spiritual home is here, as her parents, Tommy McClintock and Annie Long, came from Darney and Multains. Like everyone, has had quite a few ‘challenges’ in her life, including midlife divorce, which devastated her, but she made up her mind that she did not want it to ruin the rest of her life. Katrina made it her mission to recover and rebuild by redesigning her life and working on herself.
Today, Katrina is happily re-married, loves her life, and has vowed to support and inspire other women who have been through the same, or some significant loss.
